WTF?
#BlueJays’ Roberto Osuna charged with assault on woman. Details sketchy, but here’s what Toronto police will release at the moment:
Toronto Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna was arrested early Tuesday morning for domestic assault.
According to a police report Osuna, 23 has been charged with assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, June 18. A source close to the police said that the charge is related to a domestic incident.

You cannot question Assistant GM Mark Hunter's ability to find good players in the Draft, but with the club at a stage where their pipeline is fairly well stocked and with Toronto selecting in the bottom third of the first round, that could mean that the Leafs will be open to dealing. - mikeinbuffalo
Why can't we question Assistant GM Mark Hunter's ability to find good players in the draft?
What the frank has he done to warrant this kind of praise?
The sum total of players he has drafted who have (so far) played in the NHL:
Matthews (Hunter deserves no credit - this was a no-brainer)
Marner (4th overall - my dog could have made this pick)
Dermott (half a season in the NHL, and if you want to play the "what if" game, we probably would have been better off with Konecny, or taken Aho or Carlo).
The rest of the draft picks look like a giant pile of dog crap.
So my wing-scarfing friend, please explain to me what Hunter has done to have me not question his drafting abilities?
Your pal,
Wedgie. |

The one thing I’ll give dubas and hunter credit for is their pro scouting.
They kept a handful of nonis/burke legacy prospects that are looking like nhl players.
They dumped a number of prospects who have gone on to do nothing.
